FAQ > Ingredients > What are the main ingredients?
We often get asked about the main ingredients in our products. Almost all the cakes and bakes have a base mix which includes a flour Blend (Rice, Potato, Tapioca, Maize, Buckwheat); Free Range Eggs; a dairy free spread which includes sunflower oil and other vegetable oils; Raising Agents (mono calcium phosphate, sodium bicarbonate); Xanthan Gum; salt; emulsifier; colour (natural carotenes).
We use caster sugar but because we bake from scratch we can make most of our products with fructose instead which is particularly suitable for diabetics.
To our base mix where necessary we add nuts, fruit, lactose free chocolate chips and various other flavourings.
Several of our clients have particular dietary needs and as such we have experience catering for a range of conditions.
